Choose Now Change Lives grant

The Choose Now Change Lives grant initiative is open to applications from local UK community organisations and groups throughout 2021. Applications will be shortlisted three times throughout the year in May, July and September. They are calling for all community sports clubs, community action groups, youth work, music groups and food banks to get involved and nominate themselves to be in with a chance of a stake of the £20,000 grant fund. https://www.boostdrinks.com/changelives/

Arnold Clark Community Fund

The Arnold Clark Community Fund will be open to all UK registered charities and local community groups who need financial assistance due to the coronavirus pandemic. From 1st March 2021, at the end of every month, 500 applications will be granted. If your charity or local community group is unsuccessful one month, you’ll automatically be entered into the draw for the following month. Summer School Funding

To support young people in England who have suffered the most disruption to their education as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the UK Government is providing £200 million in summer school funding. State-funded secondary and special schools, non- maintained special schools and pupil referral units will receive from £59.70 per place per day to deliver a one- or two-week programme offering a blend of educational, sport, enrichment and wellbeing activities, with a focus on pupils making the transition into year 7. Clubs in Crisis

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, Made by Sport, in partnership with the Cash4Clubs scheme, has launched a new Covid-response fund to enable grassroots community sports clubs across the UK to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people affected by the pandemic. The #ClubsInCrisis Fund will provide grants of up to £2,021 to local sports clubs and third sector organisations using sport to help young people develop life skills, reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, improve employability skills, or tackle mental health issues. Sports Funding

Funding news for sports clubs Sport and activity groups, clubs and organisations in England can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to respond to the challenges of the new lockdown measures and to return to play in a coronavirus-safe way.
